2nd Annual Tillamook Bay May Day registration/rules on #1

Registration will be available at the captains meeting as well as at check in tournament day. 
Launching will be at the Old Mills decommissioned boat launch.
 

Will I be able to register if I arrive at the launch about 8:30?  Will somebody be around to take my paperwork?

Yes someone will be at the launch from launch to landing.

Ok guys and gals once again it's crunch time for me... Check the competitors list make sure if you sent it that I got it and your on the list , anyone that hasn't sent it can register right before you launch, captains meeting non-mandatory will be between 8-9 Friday evening in the club house building facing the tent area. The guys are working on a hamburger or hotdog potluck for Friday evening if you wanted in on that speak up. Plan for light rain, don't worry about the swells unless your going out into the throat of the jetty, currently forecasting 7mph for wind so no issues there. I have not heard back from my jet jockeys but we're hoping to have two jet skis OTW for picture boats and to make sure NOONE crosses the bar. Also keep your head on a swivel when shooting the narrows so we're not cutting off any charters or commercial trollers. Most important have fun.

Yes but not mandatory so if someone miss reads it hey no sweat.

Ok for those who were here last year and had to deal with that stupid cable across the ramp, you will be pleased to know I got permission to put a removable hook on it so we will have it out of the way for launch day as well as had the poles blocking the ramp moved to one side so there is a nice spot to check out as you head down the freshly cleaned dock and when you come off the water you will be able to check in so we don't send the men in orange out looking for you.

Schedule of events and it is not carved in stone just ball park numbers , anyone who has fished with me knows what that means (+/- 15 minutes or when I get there)

Setting up in the event building Friday as needed

Captains meeting Friday evening around 7-8pm not mandatory

Party at someone's campfire (not mine) not sure who's yet but it starts at 5 & goes till the cows come home.

Launching at the Old Mill boat ramp commencing at 5:30 am or when your hangover is gone just remember low tide is 7:45 and you ain't making the jetty on an inbound tide.

Weigh in 3:30 if your out of the water your good if there's a line.

Potluck and awards will begin around 5 so thoes not staying ain't driving till 2am.

For those not able to make it you can buy raffle tickets if you get the money's in before the tournament or send it with someone attending you need not be here to win. Also mark your calendars yep that's right folks TBMD-3 is set to take place on Saturday May 27th 2017 oh ya -2 ft tide though but at 9 am so plenty of aqua to get on the bay in.

Oh man I can't wait!!! Just thinkn about it makes me smile even bigger, which is tough for me cuz I'm always smilin!! I can't wait to see everyone again and fish in the salt!!!

So that we're all clear on the prize pool table ... Everything is on the table order of table selection is as follows: 1st place salmon... 1st place all non salmon fish... 1st place Dungeness crab ( no reds) then 2nd place in that order .. Then 3rd place in that order. Since we put together captains bags this year we won't be drawing competitors numbers for prizes and those that registered and don't make the 30 for a captains bag will get 2 raffle tickets. All prizes will be raffled after the winners pick.
