Going great so far only 35 registered I believe and 32 on the water. Shirt sales were major lacking this year hope we can make up for it in raffle ticket sales. I know Team INSAYN really want to represent and fish this year but unfortunately they had some logistical issue with some stubborn ass! :spittake:

Naw, you just chose the wrong month to have your May Day event.   :laughing7:

Make it June, and I'm sure many of us would be able to make it.   :occasion14:

Next year you could call it the TillyMuck June Bug Fishing Adventure.   ;)

Ok ok Keep your keyboards on... I'm still trying to recover here's the standings.......
Salmon
1st place  goes to SteveM 12.56 lbs the one and only salmon of the tournament

All other non salmon
1st place nobaddays 17.18 lbs of perch

2nd smilingkayaker 7.80 lbs

3rd snarf   4.90 lbs

Dungeness crabs

1st  f'ncrabmagnet (aka) Minnowmagnet 4.78 2 years in a row I believe?

2nd   Lil_cowboy  2.32

3rd  Monkeyfist  1.14 with one crab

We had a blast and our total this year despite having super low shirt sales $9.84 kick back for quantity we did increase this year's total from last year and the winner really is............ All our veterans for our Portland chapter Heroes On The Water with a total of $1,320.00
I wanted to give a special shout out to our biggest sponsor as far as total in donations and that honor goes to Kershaw Knives with a little of over $1000 retail in knives.
I'd also like to personally thank James Book from Ninkasi Brewing for jumping in and personal donation 7 cases of Ninkasi for the potluck.
Also John Heart from the Kayak Shed for $100 & $50 gift certificates as well as some swag. Next Adventure for a & 50 gift card as well as some swag. KoneZone didn't let us down with some swag that has some very fish appropriate sayings as well as some other swag. Tony from Lancer jigs gave everyone two ling catching baits.  Phil at Procure made sure we all had some smelly stuff fish loves. As well as all of the other great companies like Ram Mounts and the rest of them that are here http://www.northwestkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=16671.0

Unfortunately due to some unknown reason we got an email from Cabelas with a donation confirmation # but never got a delivery or response from my voicemail. Hope to hear back to find out what happened there. If I do I'll post it up.

Not sure who it was but one of team INSAYN guys was seen speeding west on hwy 6 with what appears to be a slightly older model kayak from an unknown mfgr. But unfortunately with the top of the line high quality transport...Uuumm?!?! Vehicle? I think? Maybe? Wtf am saying we're not quite sure what that is under what looks like it's trying to be a kayak? But he never made it.

Apparently they heard about all the new kayaks and the "beach chair" seats, and decided to one-up everyone.

Appears to be a tandem model.

In case anyone was in a carnivorous coma when I said it the first time after the potluck... Thank you for your continued support of Heroes On the Water!

Mojo and his team are a pretty tight unit and the tourney keeps growing and getting more awesome every year. Thanks to everyone for turning out, some from some pretty far flung places, to help out a great cause.
