Resurrection Bay tide/weather second opinion

I'm trying to judge the conditions for a trip to Seward tomorrow and I have no internet at the house, so I'm trying to look up data on a smartphone. Not user friendly....

From what I can tell, there will be a strong outgoing tide (10' falling to 3') with light SE winds (cloudy and rainy too!). Are those tide/wind conditions "doable" in Resurrection Bay, or do I need to be looking for other entertainment/exercise tomorrow?  I'll troll something to look for kings, but I'm mostly just looking to get on the water.

Tide isn't an issue so much in Seward, its never that fast...

Might not be comfortable but if you launch out of Millere's landing, it should be do-able.  No guarantees though with a south wind.

<agrees>   Tide is much less at issue than wind there.   I like West wind when fishing millers side, but dont see that often.  South is OK - in summer months especially it can shift to North winds by afternoon, in which case if you are riding the incoming tide back you can hit the Wind/Wave in opposing directions and get surface chop.   

If you are going to do Millers/Tonsina - I have run out there in similar conditions a half dozen times and with one exception had good conditions each time.    Watch the breakers on the Tonsina delta if you cross through there as tide recedes - it shallows up quite quickly, so you have to swing a bit wide for smoother ride if crossing in bottom half of the tide cycle.   I see most Kayakers returning from Caines head do not hug the shore - they bee-line back.  Partly this is to get the kite effect if the south wind holds, partly to save distance.   I tend to hug that West side a bit more than most, but swing wide around Tonsina unless I have a reason to be up shallow.

There are a couple of beach pull outs along there.   One down at Derby cove that I have been in a few times, and one to either side of the delta at Tonsina.   Good place to rest out if you get a bit of surge/chop or want a to stretch your legs.

Lovely day for a paddle today. No sign of bait or kings, but I did get a tug from something 130' down in 200' of water.  I fished south of Miller's Landing.

I normally launch at the end of Nash rd and noticed during tide changes waves would get bigger. never caught salmon or halibut there but hooked a bunch cod and polluck just 150-200 yards from shore on the other side of the industrial area.
