So the homer winter King derby is March 19th... Anyone planning on hitting it? I'm going to try provided I am not on call and what have you with work.

It's going to be my first year joining the derby and first time using a hobie. Not 100% on what to do but going to take a stab at it. I know registration should start mid January. Should be fun. I'm going to start looking for a place to stay in homer for the weekend. Any recommendations?

I WOULD, except I'll be out of state until the morning of the 19th, so not looking good for me.   I am seriously banking on making a few longer weekend trips down later in the spring.   Will be sorry to miss the fun of the Derby this year.

I am in for the derby and I'll stay at the Best Western, if the weather is not too bad. I can do cold but windy cold rain not so much.

I'm planning on it - weather permitting of course.  Already have reservations at Land's End.
