So I've got a project and wonder if anyone around anchorage can weld aluminum.  Need to modify a 1up sled trailer for an AI with a Pro Angler above.

AKRider had a good idea of using unistrut to build something that bolted to the deck, as did a coworker for making something out of steel that did something similar so I am currently going to investigate that. I'm sure I could do something using treated lumber but the thought of a PA bouncing down the road at 65 mph gives me pause.

And it's done. Used the unistrut to build the rack.  Worked great!! Adventure island and pro angler on a 1up sled trailer..

Let's see if the pics are upright for a change...

Sweet !  Nice job Dan.

I so want to check that trailer out in person next chance I get.    Also - my friend with two Mokais will want to see it, as he has been thinking of doing something similar for when he is not pulling his camper.
