Guys the rockfish classic is on the 11th in july can't wait. It will be my first time fishing for a prize and I am stoked to get my kayak wet and itching to drop a line in the water, hope everything goes well.

It's on Saturday July 9th.

Calendar should be changed to reflect that.

Thanks for the tip.

BTW, might want to double check that date.  Pretty sure it's July 9.   :-*

Welcome to NWKA.  If you don't have much salt experience in the kayak there are a number of folks on here that would be willing to take an eager learner under their wing out at Depoe Bay.  Why don't you tell us a bit more about yourself.

ORC is July 9th.  I've changed the calendar to reflect that.

You should also consider doing the may day tournament, and the Bonneville dam tournament. The OR was my first tournament I did last year and I regret it. Yes I had fun, but I spent a hour fishing and 8 hours trying to paddle back in. Just a thought from. One new guy to another.
