Hey all,

Just a shout out to anyone around the lower island that would like to head out chasing bass or trout send me a PM or post up for a fish. I plan on a few trips up island in the coming months if anyone is game at a later date.

Nice fish, Mick. I'm in the area but do not do much freshwater fishing.

Hey T2,

I am getting the feeling there is not many(at least on here) yak fishers around on the lower island, I am aware of the Albernie group up island. Once i am set up for the salt maybe we can meet up for wetting a line, till then tight lines !!

Hey Mike,

In the summer, I will take my kayak and fly rod down to Elk Lake for bass or rainbows.  Small mouth seem to be in and among the structure along the north shore of the lake (between the boat launch and the beach).  That being said, I am more likely to head to sea if weather and time are permitting.

Hope see you out on the water sometime.
