There is no Movie, photos, or books that could prepare me for how raw, wild and beautiful this place is. We had a bluebird day to fly up from Seattle the coastline was crazy... and no humans.. I kayak more in the winter than summer, less humans, more wildlife. If I wasn't a single father trying to raise a daughter to be a positive, respectful contribution to this world I'd sell everything I own except fishing, kayaking and snowboard stuff and be up here immediately. To all yous guys and gals up here cheers! You live in such a cool place! I will be back to fish and paddle with you.

WELCOME TO ALASKA!!!

We have a great group of kayakers here though the numbers are still a little thin which is amazing to me.  Most of us preparing for the March 19th Homer Winter King Derby.  Its a powerboat derby but we entered some folks last year and last yeqar they actually had a top kayak category!

The great fishing starts in May and goes into November for kayaks here in South central Alaska.

If you ever have more time, let us know!  I am sure we could get you out.  The major problem is the best fishing is 3 to 4 hour s away one way.  Later in the summer there will be opportunities closer to Anchorage.

I have a amateur site up for Alaska kayak fishing at:  http://AlaskaKayakFisher.com

Let's fish!!!!
