I've been collecting gear in order to get into kayak fishing this winter, and the only thing I have yet to buy is a kayak. I've been looking around at a lot of reviews and pictures, but that only gets me so far.  I've heard so many of your rave about your Outback's, and right now I'm debating whether I can justify throwing down that much money.

So my question is:  Would anyone who is planning to fish this weekend be willing to let me take a quick spin (30 minutes-ish?) in your Outback or Revo?  I can meet you wherever--preferably Whittier or Seward, but I can do Homer, too, in a pinch.  I have my own dry suit, vest, paddle, etc.

Thanks in advance,

Matt

I don't have a revo or outback but do have an adventure island.  The hull is basically the longest revo.  Also have a pro angler 14.  Could make one or both available.  I imagine a pro angler would be fairly similar to an outback.

During weekdays, you can come grab one of my outbacks.  Weekends, it just depends on if I fish or not.  Got a specific date in mind?

If you can't get hooked up with one of us for a test drive, Alaska Raft and Kayak has rentals. They will let you put a day of rental toward to the cost of a boat if you decide to buy.
