Me and a group of friends rented a big house in La Pine for the weekend.  We took the yaks and headed over to Twin Lakes, I figured this would be a great place for us all to practice getting back in out boats out in the water.  I also took along a couple rods so that I could try for some trout.   I trolled a Chartreuse Panther Martin and managed a couple 8-10 inch stockers.  I was excited even at that.

So I had read in a post somewhere about a tool to assist getting back in your boat in deep water.  SO i rigged up a piece of webbing about 4 feet long with heavy snaps at each end.  After I got in the water I grabbed it and snapped it on my handle and used it like a stirrup and grabbed the other side of the boat and climbed on in!  The boat took on some water but I just pumped it right out!

Anyway I know this is a pretty boring post but I wanted to share anyway at least for the nice scenery!

Sorry I guess I should have  said that in the post!  Of course no one was around to take pic of the lil fish. That was a throw away under water cam for the last pic took great shots.  That was an area we found right after we launched from the Century bridge on the D, it was the most amazing clear water! fish everywhere! Thats what I was trying to get a pic of a trout hanging out by the tree!
