Finesse rig

A few of us Tri-cities guys hit up some of the sloughs on the columbia saturday morning. It was some tough fishing, and only a few were caught by almost everyone but me. It seems like the finesse method was the ticket, so I picked up a couple packs of stick baits. I watched a couple youtube videos, of how to setup the mojo rig. I tested my new found knowledge out on sunday, hoping I could at least catch one fish. Turns out the mojo rig just may be my new favorite method of fishing. Here is a video of me fishing the Mojo rig with a light setup, and catching a beautiful smallmouth bass.

Nice job!! There's nothing better than learning a new method and then having it work. It adds another thing to the bag of tricks for sure.

Off the top of my head, I personally know of a handful (5). But it seems that Smokeyangler and I, are so far the only ones traveling to events. I started a Tri-city kayak anglers (washington) Facebook page to find all the kayak anglers in the area. If you know any kayak anglers near the tri-cities please send them there, I would like to meet them.

Sounds like enough to start a team to me and just incase anyone is wondering yes I'll let Smokeyangler out of his iron clad Team C.O.D. Contract that he doesn't have to start up a team for the Tricity Inaugural Team ...... Put them initials on your boat !! I DARE YA.

Ha I'm sure Smokeyangler is proud to be a C.O.D. team member, but I may have to recruit him for our team. Are there team challenges on NWKA? Also is there and official way to make a team?

Nothing official and the junk jig challenge was a team thing.. It's all for fun and someone to fish with.

Sounds like a good time. I'll design a team logo and, and get one started! Eastern, Wa guys need to represent!
