Ok its a long shot.  But I have KTUU asking if anyone is available to take them out halibut fishing tomorrow or Wednesday?

I can only carry one kayak right now and it would take two extras to do it right (reporter and cameraman)...or a powerboat.  I don't know how you would even begin to swing it with drysuits and stuff.  If it was wednesday, I could get them to pick up gear at Alaska Raft and Kayak tomorrow.

I might go tomorrow, but I can only carry one kayak right now.  Taking two days off is a stretch.  It just has to be one day.

Any takers?

I was considering going tomorrow as well. I work Wednesday. I've got my paddle board they could potentially use. Might be entertaining! I've also got a sit-in kayak with a skirt....not sure if any of this helps...

Fishing relaxes me. It's like yoga except I get to kill something.

Rudy,

We have several Malibu Kayaks that we could loan you. In addition we have a 8'x'10 flatbed trailer to carry them on. Our order of drysuits and safety gear has not arrived yet. But we could most likely get you setup with something. Even have a few rod reel combos they can use.

If needed I could pull the trailer and boats down as well.

Let me know.

Best regards
Dave

I convinced them to re-scehdule.  Maybe I will offer up our derby so they can get a bunch of us doing it.  Alaska Dispatch also wants to do a story so we may need to split things up.

Stay tuned!
