Sat. Halibut

Mutiny bay was a total bust for the halibut opener. Counted 97 boats, saw 1 fish landed. I've never been over there but I'm planning on the Neah bay area this Saturday. Any advice, warnings etc...

I fished out of Hobuck this past weekend with two buddies. We got skunked on halibut as did everyone else we spoke with on that side of Flattery. The Garbage Dump on the other side of the cape produced fish we were told. Good luck!

Hello from Alaska what do you guys use for halibut I want to try something new

I can't imagine it being much different. I usually use a squid up top with a herring on a trailing hook on  a slide weight set up or a spreader bar and run about 5 ft off the bottom.
