We should have enough boats if it's easier for you to leave it and bring the family.

Bump .. Anyone else interested in helping out 4 of us is a little light for diversity, I'm hoping to promote the HOW Chapter were starting here as well.

A week and a half out and only 4 volunteers, can I get a few more? This will be from noonish till I'm thinking 6 ish, I'm planning on us promoting the Heroes On The Water North Oregon Coast Chapter during Garibaldi Days as well. If we get enough help id like two guys attending the boats/questions and switch every hour so bringing the family is a good option to explore the booths. Post up or pm me if you can help out.

Come on guys a week out I know it's not fishing but it will get our sport out there some more as well as promote H.O.W. . You don't need to be a pro staffer or guide, your not giving speeches, only real requirements are, a pulse, know what a kayak is, know how to fish from one (note I didn't say catch). With only 4 guys were going to be spread a little thin so sign up and bring the family to watch the parade and explore the booths.

Ended up breaking down at 1500 had a good time talking kayaking and we helped with the kids trout pond. A BIG Thanks to Hdwipmonkey , heliumhead, Dan E. Talked to a few Vetrans and a few possible sponsors.
