Basically what Rudy said, just stay away from the bank fisherman, cant go wrong with some good roe about 2 feet under a bobber. The launch is easy you just have to time it right...2 hours before and 2 hours after high tide or you'll be dragging your yak through mud. The mud is very bad there too, the fire department has a hole they use for training right off the launch so be careful.

Depending on whether I've finally kicked this epic cold I've been fighting for 3 weeks, I'm planning on being in yak for the Saturday morning tide.

kardinal_84...do you anchor and is 10 foot of anchor line enough?

No I don't anchor, but it wouldn't hurt.  Espcially when fishing with bobber and roe, The boats are right on the bank.  10 ft might not be enough.  People pitch their bobbers into little crevices in the bank practically.  The fish seem to hit within one feet of the shore line.  YOu maybe throwing the anchor onto the shore mud.  I'd carry 20ft just so you have a little scope.

Anchoring can be effective but you'll need at least a 20ft rope cause at high tide it can get pretty deep depending on where you want to anchor, plus you'll have to let out some extra line for your anchor to be effeffective

I didn't make it out this morning. I stayed out there until 11 last night, brought a 15 pounder home and was trying to fill my proxy. Hoping for tomorrow morning.

That one wasn't, but I was in the yak this morning, missed one and had a few other bites. Met y0gee...he was skunked as well. Boy was it awesome not to have to go mudding though. Love my Propel and the fact I can use it closer to home.
