...of course I knew they were which is why I bought a Goretex suit from them 7 years ago.  It had a limited lifetime warranty.  I sent it in for repairs and to have small wholes patched, which I do every couple of years, and I got an email back saying the fabric in the crotch was delaminated. What does that mean if you buy quality American made stuff you ask? Well it means I am getting a brand new Goretex dry suit for free.

They are the only company I know of to which you can send your suit in and, for $25 (plus shipping), they will patch any leaks that have developed. In my case, it was over 40+ little pin (scute) holes (I stopped counting). This is why you never take sturgeon out of the water, unless you can keep 'em.

You to can have one for a great deal right now at REI: $767.99 https://www.rei.com/product/832610/kokatat-gore-tex-front-entry-dry-suit-with-relief-zipper-mens
or a paddling suit (aka dry suit with neoprene neck gasket) $623.09 https://www.rei.com/product/816632/kokatat-lightweight-gore-tex-paddling-suit-mens

For what it is worth, I have no affiliation with this company, just a love for them and their customer service.

Now which color should I get...

Now if someone would just make a quality one without black or other dark colors on it, I'd roast in them suckers being dark colors. If they ever wanted to test an all gray, white, or yellow one I'd give it a go.

That  sounds like something Zoolander would wear.

But I bet you could pull it off fabulously !

I sent mine in earlier this year and had the holes patched and gaskets replaced. They tore when I was taking the suit off in really cold temps. Got it back like new.

Absolutely!  I had a similar experience a few years back; my suit had an area that delaminated and they were not able to repair it.  Instead of me being up the creek without a paddle, they sent me a BRAND new suit....seriously, who does that?  That is just amazing and also the reason I tell anyone who asks to go with Kokatat when buying a new suit.

This is good to hear! I just scored a "worn one time for 3 hours" Kokatat goretex suit from ebay for $526! I figured with the lifetime warranty it's worth the cost and well worth it to get one basically new over one of questionable age and origin.

For a premium, Kokatat will let you design your own custom drysuit... including the gray ghost model you speak of.

Liking this option, if I spending over a grand I'm. Customizing the shiza out of it and having it tailored to fit perfectly over my base layers.
