i have the lexa 300 on a trevala, model tvc 70ml. using this for so far for lings/rockfish. works great. mostly use 4oz jigs. have used a 8 ounce cannonball a couple times. also have another trevala, model tvc-66mh more of a broomstick than the other which is my go to but this works really nice also. both great rods that go with me whenever am out there. break rig off grab the other and keep fishing.

Trevala. Works great on big fish (sturgeon and halibut) and makes smaller ones way more fun than my old ugly stik tiger light.

+1 on the Trevala. Best jigging rod I've used. Handles 12+ oz of lead easily.

What line rating are you using?
Hey Noah, I'm using 40lb braid on a shimano torium. I use 30lb mono leader.

Daiwa Saltiga G  -- SAG-J66MF  1pc 6'6" line weight 15-40lb   I also have the trevala, but I think this is "better" maybe just a wee bit lighter and more power or just that I've wanted one and I'm worth it. ;D

+1

You can jig this rod all day long effortlessly.  It has great response and telegraph's every bump but has the power to make small work of BIG halibut.

Haven't had much time using the Daiwa Saltiga but that's the way I went.  There's a matching spinning version as well.

2015 Jackson Big Tuna (tandem) (dark forest)
2016 Hobie Outback LE (screamin' orange)
2014 KC Kayaks K12 (the better half's, in camo)
2015 Jackson Kraken 13.5 (bluefin)
