Fished Ten Mile today. Was a beautiful day. Couldn't catch a LMB, got some bites but no hook-ups. Did manage to catch a bunch of Perch, the largest being a AOTY lead grabbing 7 inch monster  ;). Also saw a doe and her two fawns. They were about 20 feet from me and didn't spook at all. Was a good day today.

Kim and I rented a boat in house on Ten Mile back in the eighties. Great bass fishing, but you have to fish at daybreak or sunset. Good bluegill fishing too around the docks.

I caught a lot of 12 to 16 inch bass on rattletraps and spinner baits. Lots of smaller bass too. It's funny how a 5 incher can get hooked on a large spinner bait. Fishing the docks was the most productive.

Good Job on taking the lead Roy!  You Da Man!

I sure hope breaking my favorite fishing rod on Sunday was enough to appease the fish gods.  If so, you're gonna feel me nipping at your heels.    >:D

They didn't give me the asshat for nothin.  :-*

Broke it laying a hard hookset into a half burried stick.......   :-\

To add insult to injury, I couldn't afford to replace it so I've gone from a nice hand wrapped locally made magic stick to a $40.00 Chinese made ........ something.  Maybe there's some magic in this one.  We'll see.
