Art,  if you don't get anyone to answer, I think you can do it solo as long as you know a few things.

so it looks like a high tide around 3:14pm . but current doesn't stop till around  5pm.

so if it's your first time, I'd launch around 3pm to 4pm.  as you launch you should drift north.  but that close to slack, current should be less than 2 knts.

I'd troll king gear to 35 to 40 ft of water as i head straight out. youll see yourself getting pulled north. for the first 15 to 30 minutes, try and stay even with the launch. you will get a feel for the current.

don't panic if you can't. the tide will turn.

current slacks at 5pm and then you will begin heading south. if you want to extend your time on the water, just slowly pedal north as you fish.  DO NOT overshoot the launch. if you do you will be battling current to get back.

make sure you understand the king conservation zone. the north line from WG is a tad north of the big towers. to the south, it's only like a half mile. should be red markers.

looks like other than rain, it should be quite fishable.

here's some info.

  Cudo's Rudy

You are an absolute wealth of information for any one fishing Alaska.

  Great job bro....

thanks Mark!  You and "cod" from AOD forums are the ones that got me going in cook Inlet! Just continuing to pass that great info and experience along.

it's absolutely been a positive for me and if I can make even one person smile it's worth it. And it always helps to catch fish to make a good day into a great day!

Thanks as always to ya Mark!

No thanks needed Rudy...........you take it to a new level. I might have just pushed a bit. Your sharing tips and your many videos are not only entertaining as hell.... thinking .... ouch my leg, ouch my leg, ouch my leg...........
Have you ever met cod ? I did once out a Anchor Point. He was surf fishing with his wife. We had a great time talking for about 5 hours and even caught a few fish. He is like you......always wanting to help people out. If you haven't met him... search the guy out. you will be pleasantly surprised. You need to make that happen.
Looking forward to your report from Adak. I never made it out there...but that's okay. Other higher priorities on my bucket list. Like Kodiak Island. Can't believe I let that slip by. So bring on the report of that 300npound butt. Curious minds want to know........ ::) ::) ::)
