Attached to a short line and a bouy.  Power boats can tie the rope off to the boat, you're gonna have a bad time if you try that in a kayak.

The tips look like this the cable is locked in with setscrews so they only have 1 wire coming out of them I think it helps them go thru the fish but it does tend to rip the fish more.
Take the sticker off your hat Bend the rim and go fishing!

Oh Oh...SOUNDS LIKE A PLAN!  lol.  Gotta catch a big enuf fish.  I'll tow my mini-x out.  We will strip it down.  Participant sits in the mini-x with harpoon tied off to the mini-x while people fish around him.  The person can fish too for extra style points.  Bring the halibut up next to the participant.  He harpoons it.  I recommend far back near the tail as the harpoon will hold.  Hope the fish goes nuts or minimal style points.  High average ride wins.

Hmmm....why does normal fishing sound so boring all of the sudden.....

Unfortunately I won't be making it to the classic...scheduling issues with work. Thank you for the offer, I'm sure they're great harpoons.

Yard sales a great place to look for a good yak harpoon. I paid $10 for mine. It was a commercial, broomstick style unit with a little bend in the stainless shank. Straightened the bend, cut the handle, put a piece of "pool noodle" on for a flotation...works great.

I must say, the golf club sticks look great as well. Might be a good use for one of my old clubs. Give me a chance for a hole in one.
