Anyone have any info on rigging up 3 curly tail jigs at the same time, or maybe a video? When I try my top and middle jig always tangle.

Thanks!

Tie your own crappie rigs with the hooks far enough apart that they can't touch.

I run a setup similar to Mojo's, except I use shrimp flies. I use  the same piece of 30 pound Maxima ultra green to tie on 2 shrimp flies and a 4 oz.Lancer jig or Big Hammer on the bottom jig.  I tie a dropper loop for each shrimp fly and space all 3 hooks about a foot apart from each other.  The dropper loop I leave about 2 to 3 inches of loop to run through the eye of the hook on each shrimp fly.  I use the Danielson shrimp flies that are unweighted as they have more action.  Danielson sells a leader pre tied with the shrimp flies and has the duo locks for attaching to your mainline and adding your bottom jig if you don't want to tie up your own as an option.  I usually carry a couple of these in case I run out of my pre tied setups.

That's exactly what it is 30 lbs mono and the knots that the unweighted hooks and curly tails are on I tied with double slip knot. I usually put a double slip knot on top and a snap swivel at the bottom so I can change the weighted jig.

I copied Nangusdog's drop shot rig recently.  I use a very short leader on the bottom w 25 lb test. To a swivel and then 2 dropper loops spaced about 12 to 14" apart above the weight on 40 lb ultragreen.  No more losing jigs cause the weight rarely ever gets hung up on the reef and acts as a nice dinner bell.  4 to 6 " grubs on the hooks off the loops creates great action.  So easy to change out the amount of weight, or to run bait.
