Hey, guys.

I bought this kayak about three months ago, hoping to get on top of some really awesome fish. I slammed trout and did pretty well on flounder, but that appears to be the only action I am ever going to see in Washington. I got stationed here about two and a half years ago, and to say I am disappointed with the fishing would be the understatement of the century. Anyway, other than a few scratches on the bottom from landing on all the pristine beaches here in the sound, this kayak is basically brand new. Garage-kept, never stored in direct sunlight, upside down per the manufacturers instructions. This thing tracks awesome, and is a very quick boat, despite it's width. The seat has an inflatable lumbar support, which is incredible, and a sealine waterproof bag on the back. I love this thing, it is among my prized possessions, but I have been doing nothing more than wasting my time in it. Asking 1600 for everything, open to serious offers. Picture is at the bottom, can include more upon request. Any questions, PM me and we'll work it out! Located in Oak Harbor, Washington.

Thus, up for sale is this complete package:

Jackson Kraken Elite 13.5
Jackson K-krate with three rocket tubes
Scotty 2007 rod holder
Werner Skagit paddle
Stholmquist adult medium PFD
Thule Hull-a-port rack with new tie down straps+bow/stern tie downs.
I'll even throw in a medium tiger rod with/shimano spinning reel.

From the manufacturer:
The Kraken 13.5 Elite is an all-new option for paddlers looking to tackle big water. Based on The Kraken 15.5 platform, the 13.5 sheds some length for more maneuverability but with all the punch of its big brother. This kayak, just like the original, is designed for the most challenging paddling environments in the world and intended for the offshore and big lake kayak angler.

The Elite Version has all the features of the standard version with some additional fishing features for those looking to get a more fishing ready kayak. The Kraken Elite comes with the new 2-layer standing pad, fish grips, line cutterz, RAM 2007 Rod Holder, (2) RAM Tough Tube w/base, YakAttack 1.5" Screwball, and JKrate Low with Rod Holders.

A natural follow up to the first collaborative design between legendary kayak angler, Jim Sammons and Jackson Kayak’s design team led by Tony Lee. The new Kraken 13.5 is a boat shaped and built to accommodate those hitting the open water, in a nimble, smaller footprint, but still capable of big water management. It’s designed for punching through surf, handling rough offshore currents, swells, beach landings and those who desire ultimate performance and maneuverability while chasing big fish.

Sorry, I am no photographer. Will gladly provide more pictures upon request.

Washington State has some awesome fisheries and I picked up a Kraken 13.5 last month. It's a fish smashing machine. Did you move down from Alaska?

I agree, this kayak is really awesome. This is not my first fishing kayak, but it is definitely the best one I've had. I came from all over. Been stationed in japan, cuba, florida. Chose to come here because we were interested in the scenery, and I had heard nothing but phenomenal fishing reports. Now we're trying to get to Florida again.

Well, I don't know what to tell you man? You put the lime with the coconut but you couldn't drink it all up.

Do us a big favor though please. Tell everyone you may meet how much it sucks up here. Tell them the weather sucks as much as the fishing and that we're a bunch of fucking godless savages.

LPT - Californians are awesome at taking up space. If you have empty space in your U-Haul and want to protect your belongings in transit you can easily find some skinny jeans wearing dudes with beards and a man bun. Cram as many in there as you require to keep your goods safe please.

All the Californians are welcome to stay here with you. They're invading, anyway. It's too late. Thanks for the valuable input.

Just wondering if your beaches are getting covered with Coors cans.  That's how we know the Californians are here when the salmon are in.

Good luck with your sale.  That's a fine price for the package you're offering.
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

Coor's Light cans and in-n-out burger wrappers. Been driving me nuts for weeks. Thank you, sir!

Where's the in-n-out around here? I'd gladly go for that.
