Put the oversized rudder on my hobie yesterday. Wow, great upgrade, turns on a dime and have to make way less course corrections. Responds quicker at slower speeds.  probably have my hand on the rudder half as much compared to the stock rudder. Love it, and all that for a measly 23 bucks.
See ya on the water..

Yeah, that's a great upgrade huh? You're gonna love it trolling and w/ drifts. Turbo'd w/ the sailing rudder makes it a whole new machine.

Yea, Trolled yesterday, it was great.  straight as an arrow, i think it drifted off line  less then the powerboats... ;D
No more having it cranked all the way one direction and still turning the opposite way ..
See ya on the water..

And it stays in the drink in a following sea much better...

I use an Outback and have noticed the great improvement with the larger rudder from Hobie. I live in Northern California and got mine through Windtoys in Santa Rosa   John there was a great help and extremely knowledgable about anything to do with Hobie rigging. they shipped stuff to me  707-542-7245
