It was a pretty interesting place.  I am told kings hang out there at the mouth of the cove.  There is a minus tide and I am told there are clams there.  Lots of water spouting up when we went there and it was a super rocky area so we couldn't really dig for them.  We went in April a few years back I think.  Had one good take down from a king like fish.  Did catch a few I think dusky rockfish and cod.  Other than that, not much to report.

Here's a sereies of photos we took on that trip.  You know something is wrong when they are all of scenery.  lol.  Maybe interesting this time of year though.

If you wait a few more weeks, I think a fun trip might be out to Tutka Bay which is one bay over.  Go catch a few pinks then either send them to the bottom for big halibut OR I have heard salmon sharks cruise that area right outside of the hatchery when the pinks really get going.

Sounds like a good place to stress test some gear.

Just picked up some rock fish in front of McDonald spit a couple days ago. There's a red buoy marking a big ass rock. That's where we caught them. Have fun!

Fishing relaxes me. It's like yoga except I get to kill something.
