Family will be down 4-7 August for Salmon Stock. I choose to fish while they are there. Not sure if I'm going to WG or try something else. Any ideas for that time frame come to mind?

Well you have the usual WG.  But for something different, you could float the Kenai. Reds and cohos and of course trout.  One of these days, if the water is low enough, I may try the slack water near Tustemena lake on the Kasilof.  hmmm...gotta be more options though....

I was throwing around the idea of a water taxi. I noticed the Whittier post and thought about a taxi to K-bay or Soldvia. I've thought about Tstemina but don't have the proper rig for the drive.

The put in can be accessed via just a normal gravel road (Tustemna Lake Road) the last time I was there...many many years ago.  The lake is 1.6 miles upstream but the water is typically flowing pretty slow.

It's more my 16 ft trailer. Interior isn't  ready for off-road yet. Plus I re-outfitted my kayak with new brackets to mount accessories to include changing to Folbe holders and downrigger. I'm ready to try it out.

We should try and hook up and float the Kenai.  Two vehicles definitely help.
