Went up to Trillium this morning to get more acclimated to the fishing from the Yak thing. Im sure it was entertaining to watch for a while, but I got the routine down after a few laps. It was a nice morning with some clouds and a little wind but manageable.

Fished from about 7:30 - 11:30. Landed 13 and longline released another 8 - 10 or so. Started out the first hour with wedding rings tipped with a night crawler - not a nibble. Switched it up to F-5 Flatfish and got into the groove immediately. Flatlined way back behind the boat was the ticket. About half were the average 10-12 inch stocker and then 2 nice 14 inches mixed in and 3 or 4 smallish but super spirited cut throat. Nice relaxing morning. Got off the water just as the lake started to get busy.

Way to go & nice report TOS!

Ping me sometime if you want some company. There aren't too many of us on the eastern side of the metro area and it's always great to meet someone new.
My wife thinks fishing is merely guys wandering around like idiots swinging sticks in the air. Many of my trips prove how smart she really is.
