For anyone not making the tournament. Were gonna head out to Sunset on Sunday. Should be a decent sized group going. Met another Hobie Yak fisher today at Myrtle tree and he's gonna try to make it. Myself and Ralph will be there for sure and my neighbor Danny most likely will show up .Hope to have like 6 Yakkers there. All are welcome

For those not able to get south, I'll be fishing with Pole2 on Sunday morning in Pacific City. No prizes on the line, just some salty pride.

BTW, this will be my first time fishing on the big blue... :o

Awesome Jay, go get 'em. You'll enjoy jigging for Cod. Sure beats the heck out of trolling. Trolling is just too damn boring....

It was a great day at sunset. Slayed some big blacks, probably the second heaviest bag o' blacks ever. Lings were biting but were all underlings.Weather started good and just got better. Sucks not having video or still dig cams.

Met another Kayak fisher(and diver) today, hopefully he logs on to NWKA...

Was gonna go Salmon fishing tomorrow but gotta hit the blue again, today was too fun.

Glad to hear that the fish gods were smiling on you today Roy!
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain
