Myrtle creek?

I will be traveling to Myrtle Creek Or. For a couple of days.    Anyone have Intel on fishing Myrtle creek?

I'm tempted to run out to Gold Beach for the salmon, but after 9 hrs of driving I'm not sure I want to add on another 3 to get there!

Any info would be helpful.  Bank fishing or kayaking.

Tons of Smallies in the Umpqua. There might be a Myrtle Creek, but the South Umpqua is the main tributary that runs through there.

I should mention the South Umpqua is also a legendary place for summer steellies, but I cant tell you much about how or where to go about it.

There are small sections that may be kayakable, but for the most part would say mostly bank fishing. I know there are some places drift boats and such go, but again I cant advise any further than that. I would suggest consulting some local bait/tackle shops for more guidance.

So, I ended up hooking up with Browneyesvictim, and floating a 12 mile section of River.  The fishing was unbelievable!   The scenery was fantastic. It was a great day.
