my buddy and i hit the gilbert river boat ramp at about 11:30 and proceeded to fish tne gilbert river multnomah channel and another side slough all for only one crappie. the weather was nice, wind a bit strong. the gilbert is most definitely muddier than the multnomah channel. saw a bald eagle up close and we got to play with our new vhf radios all in all a good day.
