Hi Guys! What do you think? Is it ok to use stainless steel cord 1-2mm as rudder control line or not? What kind of troubles/issues to expect? Thank you in advance. P.S. I am trying to install a generic rudder to Wilderness kayak :)

If sleeved its fine.the one I put on my trident has is cable but it runs trough plastic airline tubing to keep it from wearing a hole in the kayak.
