this is my first day of vacation and i decided to head up towards cascade locks to do a little bass fishing. got there about 1:00 and the wind was pushy bet the sky nicely overcast. so i launched and headed out to the columbia and proceeded to catch a bunch of small mouth bass.i got most of them on a crank bait but also got a few on slip bobber and jig. while landing one of my smaller bass i saw a 5 or 6 pounder investigating it, got my heart pounding. after fighting the wind for as long as i wanted headed back stopping on occasion to pick some blackberries. great day

Sounds like a great day indeed!! I think I need to sell my wife on fishing by promising a blackberry bounty in return... I think it would work.
