man went to the willamette today and had one of my best days ever. bass were every where and very grabby ;D caught them on crankbaits bobber and jig and wooly buggers. with 2 on a top water popper.saw deer herons ugliest duck i think and eagles.had one fish pull my rod while in my hand underneath my kayak so that the handle was on one side and the tip on the other, with me almost taking a swim. hooked most of them on the bobber and jig but my landing percentage on that is terrible, lost alot of fish. got rained on and saw hardly any one else out there.  wind was alright.

Sounds like a great day to be on the water with the exception of the rain. Although I would take a little rain to not have to deal with all the pleasure boaters out there.

Willamette fish don't usually bite in the rain and I discourage anyone from trying!  >:D  ;D
