Haha, thanks Rudy...that worked out surprisingly well. Yes, pretty slow fishing but we got to see some whales and weather was great. Funny thing is we had literally just gotten back from a kayak tour with True North kayak around Yukon island when he asked me if we could go out on the Hobie to fish. He can't get enough of it.

I picked up a 50 pounder about 6 p.m. last night down off Anchor Point beach.

Right on! Pretty sure I heard that fish tell you to go fu**  yourself the first time he saw that net. Loved the old crow medicine show in the background too. Nice work, let's go fishin...

Fishapalooza,

Your tougher than I am...netting a 50 pounder.

Nice one.

Slow at Whiskey Gulch today. One small one and one even smaller than that that I released. 3 bites total. Bite is a bit misleading. With the size of these fish, they really should be called nibbles.

Still, a fun day.

Dumb is a better description of what I did, I was lucky I didn't get it on the first attempt. Thanks though, going back this weekend with a better harpoon courtesy of Rudy and the guy who made harps for the Barbie pole derby!
