Hello all, I am fairly new to kayaking and am currently a member of the ncka. I am originally from Kootenai Idaho and grew up fishing Lake Pend Oreille and hiking into all the mountain lakes around the area. I moved down here to the Bay Area 12 years ago and am planning ok moving back home this summer. I won't miss city life at all but the one thing I will miss dearly is ocean fishing from my kayak. I loved fishing in Idaho and loved it when we visited this summer. I can't think of anything the compares to fighting a big halibut or lingcod though. I guess I'm trying to get to know any fellow kayaker in the north Idaho area.
