Well, I'm not going to win any big fish money today. I weighted two in.  6.3 and 12.5.  At the time (not many fish had been checked in) the 12.5 was the biggest. Six more fish came in when I was leaving. They were 7 pounds and under.  It will be very interesting to see what the average size ends up being.

Any kayak fisherman in Homer interested in getting together for dinner this evening? (And/or a few beverages.)

17.3 lbs. King salmon! 2nd place in kayak division. My new personal best King salmon. There were half a dozen biologists at the weigh in. They identified it as a hatchery fish. They asked for the head, which has a wire implanted. They are going to let me know where it is from.

Fishing relaxes me. It's like yoga except I get to kill something.

Shallow water, 30 Feet of Line out, in front of the condos. Thanks to everyone for the support, as I couldn't catch anything for almost 2 days.

I also want to find out how to pull the wires when there isn't a biologist around.

I'd spin it this way. You were just being very selective [emoji6]
