sent my drysuit in after both wrist gaskets blew out, at same time too. my neoprene collar was in need of replacing also.  as well as a couple leaks. just got it back after sending it in only 3 weeks ago, if that.  awesome work! new collar is cinch type the old was velcro snugger. they replaced both socks too at no charge! when i get another suit to have as a spare will get another kokatat for sure.

They are awesome. I may be needing to send in the brand new one they just sent me when my last one was replaced due to a warrantee issue (after 6 years of heavy use). I dropped a stupid Chum at the derby while packing up and the tooth dug into my shin.  Hopefully it only went through the nylon and not the Goretx membrane.

Kokatat is awesome!
Sent my 3 yr old Hydrus Supernova Angler suit for wrist gasket repair. 10 days later ,got an email saying there was fabric separation ....got to choose a brand new suit! 3 days later,it's on my doorstep. It's like Christmas again! Was so refreshing to have a pleasant phone conversation. ..there were no questions asked, just wanted to make me safe and happy. Definitely going to send them my much needed PFD business.
Thanks, Kokatat!

Kokatat sets the bar for service and quality.  A lot of companies give lip service to their quality and sourcing but few live it as demonstrably.

Quote
"In 1971 Kokatat began making paddle sports apparel and gear in Arcata, CA. Our founder and president, Steve O’Meara, recognized from the start that keeping production local was necessary in order to control quality and continually develop the finest and driest paddling apparel in the world. Today, over 90% of our annual revenue comes from the sales of products handmade in our Arcata factory (now 150 employees strong) and by our local and regional manufacturing partners. Yes, we do source items in Asia. But, only for products that do not have scalable infrastructure here in the US and to support our environmental commitment to Gaia® PVC free flotation foam for all our life vests, available exclusively through our Asian manufacturer.

All Kokatat products are manufactured to our exacting quality standards, developed by paddlers for paddlers over 40 years. All our products are backed by a lifetime guarantee against defects in manufacturing or materials* and our repair service facility inside our Arcata factory is unsurpassed in our industry for customer satisfaction."

I had a suit replaced in the past due to the delamination issue.  I recently sent that replacement suit in for service (ripped a wrist gasket and 3 holes in the sock! Oops!)  Sent it during the holidays and got it back in less than 2 weeks.

I sent my supernova angler suit in for repair for a ripped wrist gasket.  I just got an e mail that there was a delamination issue.  They're giving me the option of replacement or upgrade.  I think it's time to upgrade to Goretex.  Kokatat is a first class company that stands by their product and customers.

Just placed my order for the hydrus 3L angler suit and can't wait.  Much needed upgrade and money well spent from what I read.  Went denim color as my boat and pfd are both tangerine colored lol.  Tight lines
