Here's the beef

Hello, everyone! I am a die hard kayak fisherman potentially relocating to the Northwest.  My current haunt is New England and before that San Diego.  My current target of preference from the yak is New England striped bass during pitch black nights on live bait. I also big in fly fishing small streams and ponds for trout and salmon. I love getting together with like minded souls to fish, exchange tactics and complain about the weather.
My current ride is a 2015 hobie outback.

Welcome to the Northwest.  Lots of targets of opportunity here and lots of chances to see the experts give seminars.  At least in the Portland area.

Salem, OR is closer to the ocean compared to Richland,WA.

Awesome! Thanks guys! I am really looking forward to moving out there. The fishing looks great! I have only really been out here in Connecticut barely long enough to figure this place out and I am leaving! But, I am ready to be close to family and friends again.

Holey Schmokes that's a nice striper! Let us know if you make it out here. Theres lots of lip ripping to do no matter where you land out here!

It is a beautiful striped but that one was about average for me this season. I had a blast this year!
