I've been admiring the Truth/Siegler reels. The Siegler web site is live and being built out daily (https://www.seigler.fish/). You'll find a new model there, a narrow version of the SG (capacities not yet listed) that they'll ship in a month or so according to an email exchange I had with them. The SG is sold out on the Truth site, and is available on the Siegler site...with a $25 price increase, $275; some of their online retailers still have the SG at $250.

I have the original Release SG and it's a BEAST. Im really pleased with it's performance and durability, withstanding many trips to the salt & still running smooth. It's a very versatile reel that can be used trolling for salmon, jigging for bottom fish, jigging for tuna, casting & retrieving, sturgeon fishing, & plunking for salmon. I sold my Avet to purchase this reel & have never looked back.

+1 on everything MurseStrong said to include the original Release branding and selling off my Avets for them.
Looking fwd to the SGN for bottom fishing and jigging kings. The SG line is incredibly tough and versatile!

Wow, a lever drag fly reel that starts at $1000.00!! I think that's an industry first.
Glad to see they're expanding their line, and honoring the lifetime warranties on all reels made under the earlier names.

What a f%#*d up world we live in when a small company gets sued for using their legally vetted and registered business name by a bunch of jackwads with nothing better to do.

What's next? The country of Palestine suing Palestine Texas for copyright infringement ?

Ooooh a narrow SG? I'm happy I haven't pulled the trigger on one of the SG's yet, I was hoping for a reel that didn't need much thumbing for jigging.
