Last minute Tillamook bay pre down report

I know it's last minute but a certain native pro staffer talked me into hitting the bay tomorrow 0500 shove off so 0415-0430 in the lot rigging fishing only but hey the opportunity for one I'll pass on crabbing. 

Well it was actually warmer then expected at 0500 and a beautiful pre dawn launch no wind and just calm rolling waves as we peddled out. Not a hot bite Nic managed one smaller copper and as the light came up more we could see why the bite was off.... muddy water.... the wind started to pickup about 0630 and around 0700 we figured we better make a break for shore before it got any worse. Not a bad day peddling but not a good day fishing.

I was so close to telling my self suck it up and head out there with you guys... something about launching in the dark that's too PTSDish for me... Stupid tides.
