Newbie

New to the forum, new to kayaking.  Should take delivery of my kayak in a week or so.  Got the bug from a guided trip (with my son-in-law) around Haystack out of Pacific City I won in an auction by CCA @ 3 years ago. 

Interested in lake fishing (kokanee in particular); hopefully eventually trolling for salmon on the Willamette and possibly the Columbia.

Would like to find some to fish with, particularly on rivers.

Welcome to the forums!! Plenty of guys in your neck of the woods!! Fishing should heat up soon as more Salmon start trickle into the system.

Welcome to the group. Spring is coming and the higher lakes are going to be stocked. A great time to get your line wet.

I and probably a couple of others will likely hit Detroit for kokanee/trout  fishing in the next month or two. I can let you know when if you want to meet up.
