Took a newbie friend out yesterday...road down to the beach is nice and clear.
Beautiful sunny day, flat calm waters, water temp 38.
We tried drifting in 40 -45 feet without any luck
Then trolled in about 25 feet...had one brief strike that didn't stick.
So we came home empty handed...but nice it was nice to dust things off and get back out on the water again finally.
Tight lines!

Sweet!  Thanks for the report!  Likely give it a go on Saturday.  Marine weather looks promising.

Thanks for the update. I am dying to get out on the water. The current plan is to do a whittier trip in the near future to test out my electronics. May should have at least two whiskey gulch trips in there.

Great report. Thanks. Chomping at the bit. I think I have to go to Anchorage this weekend. I'd rather go to Whisky Gulch. I'm close to twitching from withdrawal. :P
