I'm very excited for this path! I'm new to all this and been doing tons of research. I cannot wait to get my kayak and start fishing. I did buy all the required safety gears and accessories.

Congratulations on your purchase!  I too am new to this and so far am enjoying every minute of kayaking.  Now if it could just figure out a way to quit working, yak more and support the family I'd be all set!

Eager to hear how you like the peddle drive system.  There's an open house Gig Harbor Watersports shop on Saturday, June 3rd.  "Ballard Brad" from the site will be there, knowledgeable person to get ideas from if you don't mind crossing the bridge.

Post up a full review of the Pilot when you get a chance. I have been looking at possibly picking one up as a bass/jetty fishing kayak. Will likely keep the outback for heavier duty trolling though.

I'll keep you posted on what I think after my trail with it.
