Made it out today around 6:30.  Only took about a half hour to get 6 black rockfish.  Picked up a short ling then a keeper as well as a Kelp Greenling.  That Greenling's stomach was full of small crab.  Only saw one other kayak while I was on my way in.  There was a whale near the entrance to the harbor also.  Off the water before 9.

Nice.  That looks like a big greenling.  How big was it?  That would be some decent AOTY points.

Nice work Dave.  The ocean looked nice as I drove the 101 this morning...almost made me regret foregoing a salty adventure, but the sea-run cutthroat of Beaver Creek were a solid consolation.  Amazing amount of crab in that greenling!  I wonder if it'll affect the flavor of the fish?
