Lots of Coho around today after a few days of crazy winds.  Even saw the Triumph party boat out of Depoe show up to get in on the action.  Anybody heading down there in the next few days should pack some salmon gear.  My first fish was a big wild one that was released well, then 2 quick hatchery fish by 8:30.  All on herring.  Go get em'. Coho closes on the central coast on the 31st I believe.

Nice work!  The coho bite turned on big-time out of Depoe last week too, scored some quick limits only a mile from the hole.  Hoping to get back out there on Saturday.  I find coho to make the best salmon salad sandwiches  ;D.

Ended the early coho season with a bang today, actually a nook.  My wife's first ocean nook!  Made it out to 170 fow in a pretty lumpy ocean but things calmed down a bit.
