So I finally get some time to take the Yak off the garage wall and get it wet. After scrubbing all the snail crap and spider webs off, it dried to a nice dull sun aged luster :-\
 Aero space 303 can't be found in Brookings, and I was thinking maybe a plastic protectant used on car interiors like "Mothers", "Mcguires" etc... would give adequate results.
 Has anyone used or would ever think of using anything other than 303?
 TIA
 BTW We got up the wicnchuck and practiced self rescue for an hour or so...nice to be on the water again!

Kokatat only has 303 as a recommended protecting for the gaskets, I would be interested if there is an alternative in case it is hard for me to find.

Hobie has their own "UV Protectant & Restorer" if there's a dealer near you. I'm pretty sure it's 303.

You can buy 303 on Amazon.com and you don't even have to leave the couch.
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

Yup. That is where I got mine.  https://www.amazon.com/303-30306-Protectant-Plastic-Fiberglass/dp/B000XBCURW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1501903258&sr=8-3&keywords=303

Also, West Marine and other boating supply stores have it. I just did all my yaks. It makes them look so shiny.

"A venturesome minority will always be eager to get off on their own,
and no obstacle should be placed in their path;
let them take risk, for God sake, let them get lost, sun burnt, stranded, drowned,
eaten by bears, buried alive under avalanches -
that is the right and privilege of any free American."
--Edward Abbey--
