Anyone in the know interested in putting on a Lowrance demonstration in the Seattle to Olympia range?  I'd drag my Trident to a brewhouse parking lot or even into a bar on a table if someone in the know wanted to run it through it's paces, or crawls, or what not.

Would for a reasonable GTG as well?  Chime in if there's interest.

I'm interested in attending if it happens. I'm not using my new Hook 4 very well so far.

Not the same as a live demo, but this blog has a lot of articles about reading the FF display.

Kayaking without wearing a PFD is like drunk driving.  You can get away with it for a while, but eventually someone dies.

Yippe,
Much appreciated and there are some good youtube videos, but for some of us, it's just not like being spoon fed.
Also, I was told not to drink alone, so I still enjoy a GTG at a brewpub (they serve NA)  to share some knowledge and good times :-)

If someone had a Lowrance unit (or other brand) where the wire harness wasn't fixed/caulked in a kayak we could view it in demo mode and discuss settings.
I suppose we could use buckets of filtered and unfiltered beer with a transducer to get actual shallow readings if someone wasn't fussy.      :spittake:

That would be worth driving up to Olympia just to see! :)
