Hi! Joining this forum to learn more about fishing from a kayak. I fish (both gear and fly) and am interested in doing so in a less shorebound way. Interested to see what you all have to say about that! And if you have a boat you don't want anymore, maybe I could give it a good home.

I have owned boats for years,my last was a 32 foot SeaRay . I got my Outback in April of 2016 and I have enjoyed it more than any other one. By joining this forum and listening to the experienced kayaker,s I have learned how and where to fish. The people that contribute here are some of the most generous and kind people I have ever been a part of. I am finally getting to where I think I can contribute to the game.So I finally have started to post.
I live on Whidbey,so welcome neighbor.

ballard brad has a decked out hobie for sale, but I don't know what your budget is. If you're just looking to see if you are interested in fishing from a kayak, I would recommend trolling craigslist for sit on top kayaks. They start getting cheap the shittier our weather gets. :) Otherwise, you'll need safety equipment for cold water if you're looking to hit up blackmouth or really any water from this time of year on.

I also live in Seattle, if you're looking for someone to fish with, feel free to PM me.
