I used to wear a dry suit when ice fishing in at the beginning of the season on thin ice.  But I've become smarter, and now I just wait until there is plenty of ice to support me, and I don't need a dry suit.  So that bright new dry suit will hang in my closet until the ice goes off the lakes in the spring.

Because I'm also a whitewater kayaker, I bought a Kokatat Goretex "Meridian" drysuit.  If I wasn't a whitewater kayaker, I would have bought a Kokatat Goretex "Front Entry" drysuit.

The new drysuit will join my prior Meridian drysuit, which I've used hard for many many years, but which still keeps me completely dry.
