Mine was repaired (under warranty) after 10 months of use. Now - 2nd year still using, but it's not going to last for very long before it leaks again. But it is priced right

Anyone thinking about buying an On X maps subscription, they are having a Father's day sale on all options for 30% off. I just signed up for the Oregon edition.

I bought the OnX maps subscription last year. If you think you'll want to use it in another state, you can call them up and they will enable it for those states without making you pay for access across the entire country. I believe there's still a charge for that but it's an option that isn't (or wasn't when I did it) shown on their website.

That's a great deal, and very tempting although I'd have to hack my way to build a cart for it. I have an existing hobie wheeleez cart with one bad wheel that needs replacement, sadly I don't think these wheels will work with that one.

Mt Dew will have a $20 offer to offset some of your fishing license cost.  Available to the first 5,000 applying, starting 7am tomorrow. You have to send them a photo of your license, so it might not be for everyone.

Those wheels are a great find. I hacked together a cart in about an hour or two last year, but I have a cheap welder in my garage.  I can recommend never using 3/4 gas pipe for the axle.  It ends up being about 7/8" gas pipe when the rust expands. ;) But I needed that cart that day and it was what I had on hand.  It worked great all last summer and fall but I left it out in the rain all winter.  EMT conduit works great. The parts made of it didn't rust and it is cheap.  Right now I am building a powered one that will have a blue tooth speed controller for helping me get through the sugar sand in some tough to reach beaches that do not exist as far as I can say.

Thank you that post Snopro!!

I just got an email confirming that a 20 dollar check is coming my way. That was 5 minutes well spent (and multitasking/in a meeting anyway)

That's an excellent value for a line counter reel.  I donated my kokanee setup to Davey Jones' locker on my last outing, so I may need to go visit Bimart.

Also running 10 off uglystiks if you need a new koke rod.  They had plenty of the Kokanee Uglystik Elite in stock at the Beaverton store

I've never heard of ugly stick Kokanee rods. Are they any good? Going to try and snag some reels now.

I havent fished with the koke one but the Elite line has an UL with like 2-6lb rating or something like that.   Seems to be a decent feel in the store.  For what its worth, I use a Lami red and the eagle claw yellow.  The Uglystik seems lighter in action than both of them.   I would consider getting one if I needed another koke rod.

I bought the display model in Salem (Lancaster), and the last 2 in Lincoln City. I wanted to get 4 for my boat. Hanging out at the beach this weekend with some friends.
