Yeah, I've caught a lot of fish from it, but papa needs a new wetsuit, so I gotta try & sell it. I like it because it's relatively quick & maneuverable for a sot (also much lighter than the Fish N' Dive). I've always stored it indoors & aside from a few minor entry / exit scratches on the bottom, it's in exellent shape. Any takers? Reasonable offers welcome.

Leave it to Team Hobie to not recognize a two piece paddle when he sees one.

Yep, what can I say; just a great big kid.  & I stand corrected. 2 piece paddle, not oars. It's about 13' (the kayak, not the paddles). I'll get the dimensions next time I'm out to Coos Bay.

The Paddle looks like a Sawyer Clearwater. They cost about $100, but weigh over 3 lbs. You would certainly get a good workout with that one!

Nice looking yak. I like the idea of a rear hatch instead of a hole where everything gets wet.

You shouldn't have a problem selling it, sounds like a great deal. I'm tempted!

This was my first boat.  It has and continues to serve me very well (I ain't selling mine :nono: ). Great for pretty much any situation. I've had it in the ocean, lakes, and rivers. Not a great long distance boat (too short), but very stable and maneuverable without being squirrely.

Hey Wali,
I think I found the reason why this boat performs so well. It's not just made of linear polyethylene, it's made of SUPER linear polyethylene.  That's more betterest.....

PS Let's hope the power and water are back on soon

Wali,
Thanks for the post on dimensions.
That's one reason why Cobra rules! They use SUPER linear polyethylene.
Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all!
Best Wishes,
Paul

May seem a strange question but any idea how much storage volume is in the Malibu?  Below the deck, thru hatches.  My wife is trying to rationalize my getting a sit on top already having a sit-in kayak and if thats all it takes to get over the top --good by me.
I guess that way it  could double as top-of-car storage pod on our trips across the state.  Anyway, thanks for the help.
